The Editing Room: The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring: The Abridged Script The trilogy takes the "so what?" trial + beating and it doesn't come out so good as much as the hilarity developed from all 'futile' endeavors in the books/movies.

Something like the movie called "Star Wars" Hmm...

They still made tons of money. Is there a connection?

Lions Gate Films - House of D trailer. Special Agent Mulder, I mean David Duchovny made a film that looks very promising, judging by this trailer. I luv the fact that Erykah Badu is in it. It will be interesting to see her performance as oppose to Robin Williams who seems to be stuck in another "challenged" role.

Superbowl Commercials 2005. I didn't watch the whole game, but I 'heard' it was awesome game. As for the ads, they entertain, but fail to capture the minds. See for yourself.

"Kubrick, a director with an arctic spirit, is determined to be pornographic, and he has no talent for it... Kubrick has always been one of the least sensual and least erotic of directors, and his attempts here at phallic humor are like a professor's lead balloons." - Pauline Kael on 'A Clockwork Orange'

I came across Fortune and Glory: A True Hollywood Comic Book Story by Brian Micahel Bendis at my local library "graphic novel" section read it over an hour. It's nothing new to who read other comparable tales, like You'll Never Eat Lunch in This Town Again, but he offers personal perspectives of an outsider/comic book artist who got 'the heat' for his material and had to deal with Hollywood 'personalities.' No, his movie didn't come out yet, but you can check out his great works at his site, Jinx.

I love the advice that he got from his producer friend: "No fear. Don't be afraid to walk away."

This book proves once more that Hollywood doesn't know a good story until the story bites its ass off. I truly want to believe that's not the case, though.
